Day 2 – Why you decided to start a blog

I’ve always had blogs. Way back in the day when we got our first computer with an internet connection (bcd in ol’ ‘95) I started building my own websites so I had a place to write. In 1998 Open Diary started up, so I used that site instead. I’ve bounced from blog to blog – had an LJ, blogger, OD etc. My Open Diary was a blog I kept for the longest time. And the people found it and the whole thing lost it’s shine for me. So I stopped writing in there.

I have hand written journals, too, though I’m rubbish about keeping those now. I’m trying to be better – I should be writing more – which is why I created this tumblr. Originally it was just to post random things from the interwebs, but it slowly turned in to mostly WoW related stuff, and I’m ok with that. I enjoy playing WoW, but I don’t really have people in real life that play it, so poor Miss Meka is very kind and listens to my stories. Being able to talk about them on tumblr with people who play the game is nice too, though.

Having moved to Barthilas and to an active guild, I find I’m reinvigorated. I’m going to turn this in to a WoW focused blog as I had planned to a little while ago, and write a bit more about what I’m doing in there. Again, it’s all about writing again.
