Day 11 – Bad habits and flaws
I don’t really know where to begin this. I have loads of bad habits and flaws! I figure I should keep this WoW related as I have with everything else.
The worst habit I have is that I don’t use my cooldowns nearly as often as I should. I’m always conscious of overhealing, so I tend to save my CDs for when they’re really needed. But sometimes a fight could go better if I just use them earlier. My reluctance has come from raiding in a guild where the raid leader would ask us to hold off on using CDs until they were called for. Which is totally fine with me – Raid Leaders are trying to control the fights so I had no issues with doing what was asked of me. However after that, I found I just wasn’t using them at all.
I’m getting a lot better at this now, though. I find playing my shaman, I have a lot of utility that can be helpful in fights, so I’m clicking away when I can. I suppose I’m a little more confident now, too. I always saw CDs as these big magical things that should only be used on special occasions. 🙂
Another bad WoW habit I have is that I drink a lot when I play. Especially Pepsi Max. The downside is that makes me need to pee all the freaking time. Which can be annoying for others (though I make sure to hold it until an appropriate time… or I’m about to burst).
