There is no such thing as a “usual day” in WoW for me. Which could be why I’m not bored with the game yet. Part of this is to do with having the freedom to do whatever I want in the game – not raiding means I can do what I want, when I want, which is nice (though I do still miss raiding a LOT).
What I do in game changes all the time, though I suppose there are some things I always do. When I first log in I’ll do my profession dailies on all the toons that still have patterns to learn. (At the moment this is only my Shaman with her Leatherworking.) I also take some time to do my auction house chores (I have a level 1 toon who sells all the greens I get from levelling and other bits and pieces I pick up).
But other than that, each day is different. At the moment I’m working on the Loremaster achievement on a monk I’m levelling as a Bremaster. It’s pretty good fun. I should be done with Eastern Kingdoms tonight, and then it’s over to Kalimdor.
I run a few LFRs on my shaman for the valor and the hopes of getting a non-ToT neck and ring, but have not had any luck so far. I need to finish these off this week to take advantage of the Heart of the Valorous buff we’ve all got at the moment.
Sometimes, though, I’ll just find random things to do. For example, last night I went on the hunt for Lobstmourne. I’d come across one of the elites who dropped 1 of the 6 components required to summon Clawlord Kril’mandar. So off I went on an adventure around Pandaria to get the remaining 5 pieces to get this insane looking fist weapon. I’ll do an entry about it later tonight when I’m home and can show you some screen shots. It only took about half an hour or so to fly around and find everyone. And the fight to get the weapon was simple. Well worth the trip.
And if all else fails, I’ll go hand out in the Vale and kill Mogu mobs in the hopes that I’ll get more Skyshards for the Alani mount. (one can only dream!)
