I’ve been a bit quiet on here this last week. I’ve still been playing WoW, but not a great deal. This is for 2 reasons – 1. My work situation is pretty stressful at the moment, so I’m either too tired or too stressed out when I get home to play too much. 2. Most people are on a break, so there aren’t a lot of people online anymore. It makes for a lonely place at times.

The work stuff will get sorted out, one way or the other. The quiet guild will not get any better until Legion comes out. Which makes it a long time to be playing relatively alone.

Also, I miss raiding. A LOT. It’s only been a couple of weeks since we called it, but I miss it. And I’m not the only one. One of my lovely raid mates left the below message on the forums yesterday:

It made me feel better to know that I’m not the only one already missing everyone.

I need to make a decision about what to do. I either need to just suck it up and wait until Legion comes out, knowing that things will be better then. Or I need to find a raid team in the meantime. Neither option really fills me with excitement. I do want to raid, yes, but finding a raid team that is doing the difficulty level you want to do, that raids at times that suit you, and that has nice, friendly people in it is just damn hard and time consuming. The other issue is that I don’t necessarily want to leave my current raid team, so I may only be looking for a temporary solution here, and I’d feel bad doing that to another team.

There is the option of pugging, but that doesn’t appeal to me – half the fun of raiding is playing with people you know and have fun with. That’s a lot more difficult to get on a regular basis.

I have been toying with the idea of getting the Legion pre-order and using the boost on making an alliance shaman and finding an Alliance raid team for her. I do miss being Alliance very much so it could be a good option. Still need to find a raid team though.

In more exciting news, I’m on Girls Gone WoW again this weekend which should be a lot of fun. And hopefully this weekend I’ll have some very exciting news of my own to share with you all. So stay tuned! 😀
