As the title points out, I spent this weekend working. 😦 Not exactly how I’d normally choose to spend my weekends, but such as it is. I did make sure I spent a bit of time this morning reading for an hour, just to have at least done a little bit of something nice! Tilly decided to join me…

I’m hoping that I’ll have a better post to write at some point this month about my worth. You see at the moment we are waiting to hear if we will still have jobs next year! We are a government funded company, and as is common with organisations such as ours, the government gets different ideas about how the money should be spent or how organisations should be run, or which ones should etc, so they like to mix things up every now and then. Now is one of those times. We have applied to be a part of the ‘new version’ of things, and are still waiting (with everyone else who applied) to find out if we were successful or not. If we are not successful, then I’ll be job hunting at the end of the year.

However, we do believe we’re in a good position, so we’re all keeping optimistic and fingers crossed!

Anyway, all of that aside, this time of year is always busy at work with projects all bottlenecking together to hit the same deadline. And unfortunately that bottleneck passes through me. But I’m getting through it! And at least I can take the extra days back at the end of it… pretty sure I’ll just spend the whole time sleeping at this rate.

Anyway, that is why this is a short post tonight! I am pooped. Hope you all had a much more interesting weekend 🙂
