I’ve ummed and ahhed about writing this post for quite some time now for a number of reasons. But last night something changed, and I stopped being angered and upset by the situation and instead felt an immense amount of pity and, well… schadenfreude.
The Real Neat Blog Awards are doing the rounds at the moment, and the lovely Z nominated me – thanks Z! 🙂 I love things like this because it helps people find some great new blogs to read, and gives a bit of an insight into other authors.
Nighthold has been out for a couple of weeks now, and guilds everywhere have been poking around killing this and that, edging their way up to kill the worst of the worst – Gul’dan.
So, world quests. I personally love world quests. The main reason being that I just love being able to choose to do the quests that give me the rewards I want.
This is such an interesting topic for me, especially at the moment with all the personal changes I have going on. Despite gaming being immensely popular in Australia (check out this report) there is still a stigma associated with being a gamer.
It’s a sad time for anyone who feels their class has moved beyond something they can connect with, and I feel for anyone who has to go through it.
Last Sunday morning I had the absolute delight and pleasure to be a guest on Stone and Leeta’s show, WoW Challenges Podcast. I had such a lovely time with them, and was super excited to get to speak to Stone for the first time ever.
In my last post I mentioned there had been a bunch of guild drama that had happened recently, and I tweeted last week about the guild ending. It’s sure has been a busy time!
I don’t like to talk negatively about other people or anything, so I’m not here to bitch about individuals. But I did want to talk a little about some of the things that lead to the situation, and what’s happening moving forward.
So this week we’re putting together our bucket lists for the year, with the idea of coming back to them at the end of the year to see how we did. Knowing that, in a way, I’ll be held accountable for what I put here has actually made me think about this a little more seriously.
